Our Equipment
We very much pride ourselves on the equipment that we use for all events booked
with us. It is all very well looked after, maintained and serviced on a regular
basis to ensure both optimal quality at all times as well as reliability.
We only use high quality audio and lighting equipment, which enhances your guests
experience throughout your event.
Audio Equipment
Our active speaker system use for most events is manufactured in Italy by DB Technologies
and consists 2x10" full range cabinets and 2x12" bass bins. Put together this system
pushes 1600 Watts RMS of power, peaking at 3200 Watts, providing more than enough
power for most rooms and crowd sizes. Even though it is massive in terms of power,
it still remains very discrete, taking up only a very small amount of space. For
those large events, we can reinforce it with another full PA system manufactured
by W Audio, which will provide another 2000 Watts RMS power output, peaking at 4000
Watts.
To ensure quality sound reproduction is maintained throughout, our main playout
system consist only the highest quality Denon equipment, including Mixer, CD Players
and MP3 Hardware Controller.
Lighting
Lighting is a very important feature of your event. We try to avoid using too many
of the new LED intelligent lights, as unfortunately, technology has not yet brought
them in line with the old and trusted halogen and discharge lights. We mainly run
an Abstract lighting rig which are all halogen based lights, providing a wide array
of gobos and colour. We do use 1 LED light as a centrepiece, and only for the reason
that it fills the room with a nice effect. We also run two moving head colour wash
lights, which albeit, are LED lights, are only providing a moving wash effect in
the room.
We can also provide uplighting for your venue, to give a really nice effect, washing
walls and ceilings with whatever colour you like.
Effects
We can also provide additional effects for your event, including a smoke machine,
which although adds a very nice effect to the lighting, it remains very difficult
nowadays to find venues that will allow us to use it. We also have a bubble machine,
which is great for kids parties and provides an astonishing effect during a bride
and groom's first dance. Added to that, we have a snow machine, which is great at
the end of the night. We run it for approximately 30 seconds during the last song,
if requested and showers the crowd with Bath Foam type bubbles which dissolve within
a few minutes and leave no residue or marks afterwards.
In Summary
As mentioned, we are very proud of our equipment and make sure that it is annually
serviced and also PAT Tested for electrical safety ensuring reliability and top
quality performance for your event.
We also carry full backup equipment with us at all times in case of any failure
making sure that your party continues smoothly from start to finish.
